It is with great excitement that I welcome you to our newly redesigned FEMTEC website! This marks an important step forward in our mission to intensify collaboration between public and private bodies, between academic and thermal entities, between all actors activating in the field of hydrotherapy, balneotherapy, thalassotherapy climatotherapy, spa medicine, thermal treatments, wellness, traditional, complementary and integrative medicine that applies natural therapeutic factors for the prevention of diseases, the maintenance of health and rehabilitation empowering science, technology, and engineering in this field worldwide. Through this platform, we aim to create stronger connections, foster collaboration, and provide the resources and support necessary for the development in these dynamic fields.
We will continue to promote the coordination of information, documentation, dissemination of knowledge based on scientific evidence in the aforementioned sectors in order to diversify the thermal offer/thermal treatments in thermal resorts, spas, and wellness centres and stimulate the development of balneal tourism.
